Lost in Laos
I found myself in the middle of the Nam Ha jungle in Laos and drifting along the Mekong River with eight complete strangers. We were completely cut of the outside world — no phones, no distraction — just us, nature, and a whole lot of green. Honestly, it was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life.
Through this journey I felt like a modern-day explorer. Time felt like it slowed down and nature started sharing its little secrets. Being surrounded by that kind of stillness allowed me to reconnect with the Earth and made me fall in love with the present moment all over again — not to mention the bonds we formed as a group.
For this project, Lost in Laos, I drew inspiration from the explorers of the past — those who ventured into the unknown just for the sake of discovering something incredible. I imagined it like creating archives from another era, something timeless that captures the beauty of contemplation. More than anything, I wanted to invite you to slow down, to just be, and to reconnect with the natural world — a connection we too often lose nowadays.
